Latitüde Term and Conditions
- All payments made are non-refundable. In the rare event of unexpected change in plans, during the pre-order confirmation stage, the payment may be adjusted against a revised scope.
- Post order confirmation, no changes in scope can be entertained.
- Cancellations - At Latitüde, we endeavour to provide every partner, customer or user with the best experience. We do not have provisions for cancellations once booked.
- Returns, exchange & delay penalty
1. Returns & Exchange
- Pre order confirmation stage: Any product in the tentative BOQ can be replaced or removed while you're still discussing designs with your team i.e. before order placement
- At order stage: Since each item is made to order, Latitüde cannot cancel, replace or modify items once the order is placed. However, please be assured that your design team will always explicitly discuss all items with you before placing orders.
- At the time of delivery, if you receive a damaged or defective Latitüde product, or it doesn’t match our original specifications, Latitüde gives you the following options for returning the product:
- Rectify/replace the returned product
- Exchange with another product. If the new product exceeds the order value of the returned product, you will be required to pay the extra amount. If the order value of the new product is less than that of the returned product, we will refund the extra amount or provide store credit, as applicable.
- Get store credit in your Latitüde account, equivalent to the value of the returned product.

- Pre Conditions for return, exchange & refund:
- Modular kitchens and wardrobes are made-to-order and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Only manufacturing or transit damage cases will be considered under the return, exchange & refunds policy
- How do I request a return? Please write to us at info@latitudeweb.in within 3 days of receipt of your order.
- What is the 72-hour inspection policy?
- Expect no delays. Once you notify Latitüde for a return request, we will make sure that a Latitüde executive visits your site to inspect the product. If applicable, your return will be initiated in just 72 working hours.
When will I receive a replacement?
When a return is accepted, the timeline for the replacement to reach you may vary from product to product. A Latitüde representative will keep you informed at all times, and we will make all efforts to make your new product reach you very soon
What is Delay Penalty?
Delay penalty is a discount offered to you when handovers are delayed for a period longer than 30 (thirty) days after the confirmed Project Handover date* (as defined below). Unless specified otherwise, this date is usually 60 days from the receipt of order confirmation payment or the design sign-off whichever is later. Delays in making a payment at any stage can cause a delay in the project completion. Latitüde is not liable for any such delay. This date is communicated in the project schedule after all the sales orders are raised.
How much is the Delay Penalty?
- In the event of delays in Project Handover (except snag rectification), you shall be entitled to receive a delay penalty equivalent to 0.25% (zero-point two five percent) of the project value, per week of delay in Project Handover (“Delay Penalty”).
- For instance, committed Project Handover date – 1st July 2026. Project value (net offer/ discount): INR 10,00,000/-. In this case, a penalty of INR 2,500 (0.25% of INR 10,00,000/-) per week (maximum) will be applicable in case of delay beyond 30th July 2026.
- The term “Project Handover” shall mean the stage at which Latitüde shall conduct a site walk through with you and provide the products in a functional state. In the event of discovery of any minor snags at the stage of walk through, such snags shall be rectified by Latitüde within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of handover Functional: The snags existing will not disallow a person from living in the premises.
- In case there are any design changes/ modifications after communication of date of Project Handover to you; this includes change in scope, addition of scope, reduction of scope, material changes, finish changes, aesthetic changes, functional changes, or any other changes that may result in a delay in the manufacturing, procurement or execution at site.
- In cases where the scope of work is handled by you then the duration of execution of your scope of work will be taken into consideration to estimate the Project Handover date. This duration will be calculated based on the total number of days they require to complete their scope of work. Should the delay stem from your scope of work overshooting the budgeted days, or, any changes in the schedule of your scope of work, Project Handover date will be re-estimated and any delay penalty will be computed from the revised date.
- Delay in access to the site, which results in delay in execution by Latitüde scope of work.
- Restricted access to the site, which results in delay in execution by Latitüde/ Latitüde partner scope of work.
- Unavailability of consistent, uninterrupted power or water supply to the site during the execution phase will result in Delay Penalty not being applicable.
- In case of non-payment or partial payment or any delay in payments as per the payment milestones caused by you, Latitüde will not be held responsible for delays beyond the Project Handover date and, hence, delay penalty will not be applicable.
- Delay Penalty clause will not be applicable if there is any dependency on you to provide approvals from any local authority and they fail to do so prior to the start of project execution.
- Latitüde shall not be liable to pay a delay penalty in case of any delay in production or delivery of products ordered from third party/marketplace brands (i.e. brands other than Latitüde).
- Force majeure, which includes, but is not restricted to:
- Any act of God including natural disasters, floods, fire, earthquake, typhoon, cyclone or landslides.
- War, riot, strike, lock-outs, hartal/bandh, accidents, power failure or shortage of fuel.
- Any restrictions imposed by the central, state or local statutory/government authorities.
- Any change in applicable law.
- Any unforeseen supply shocks for raw materials and accessories.
- Any unforeseen manpower supply shocks.
- Any other unforeseen circumstances/causes beyond the reasonable control of Latitüde.
In case of any force majeure event, Latitüde will duly inform you of the delay arising out of such force majeure event within a period of 72 (seventy-two) hours from the occurrence of such event(s) or from the time Latitüde has become aware of the occurrence of such force majeure event(s), whichever is later.
Latitüde Warranty - A Tune of Resilience
Modular kitchen, storage and wardrobes purchased through Latitüde are covered under our warranty for a 10-year period (Including carcass, Shutter, Panel, shelf and Filler depend on product category)
This warranty policy (“Warranty Policy”) for the modular systems and home improvement solutions (“Products”) are exclusively given to you (“you” or “your”) by M/s. Urban Modular Solutions under the trade name “Latitüde” effective from the date of the invoice (“Effective Date”).

Latitüde will honour its warranty only when:
- The Products supplied and installed is properly maintained and utilised for normal domestic use.
- The product is still at its original installed position and location.
- The warranty has not expired, subject to the limitations set forth through Latitüde terms & conditions.
- Latitüde warranty does not include:
- Any labour, installation or transportation costs or any responsibility for damage that Latitüde considers as natural wear and tear of finishes and surfaces
- Any Products used or installed in conjugation with Latitüde kitchen/ wardrobe / modular storage such as electrical & plumbing fixtures or countertops & lighting accessories.
- Any use of Latitüde cabinetry or component parts which are contrary to instructions furnished by Latitüde.
- Any cabinetry or component parts that Latitüde considers to have been subject to alteration, modification, accident, abnormal use, extreme temperatures, continuous contact with water, high moisture levels or use of harsh and/or abrasive cleaning chemicals.
- Normal incidental deterioration like nicks, cuts, scratches and abrasions which result from normal use during the standard life of the product.
- The Product used for purposes for which it is not designed or intended by Us.
- The Product used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered, negligence, stored incorrectly, cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products.
- Cosmetic damage, including cuts or scratches, dents, damage caused by accidents/ impacts, waterborne debris or damage caused by non-compliance with maintenance guidelines.
- Fault arising in the Product due to tampering, repairs, modifications, alterations or dismantlement caused by any unauthorized personnel.
- Does not apply to damage due to any work carried out in the kitchen area post completion of installation of the kitchen.
- Damage caused or contributed to by the removal of the cabinets following initial installation.
- Damage caused or contributed to by events outside Latitüde’s control including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, explosion, contact with corrosive matter, extreme weather conditions, flood, vandalism, soiling, misuse, abrasion, improper storage following delivery, rot and/or infestation following delivery, leaks (or similar incidents).
- Damage caused by water leakages from water outlets or water spillage due to user’s negligence
- Defect caused by pests including but not limited to termites, ants, wood borers and rats.
- Natural variations in the colour, material, texture, characteristic, other changes arising from natural aging process of the material and grain of the wood, deterioration or tarnishing to surface finishes, sunlight, smoke, or other environmental conditions.
- Damage caused or contributed to by household animals and misuse by children.
- Damage caused by any force majeure event (such as flooding, hurricane, earthquake, lightning etc.) environmental condition (such as air pollution, solvent exposure, Mold, mildew etc.), or staining from foreign substances (such as dirt, grease, oils, sprays etc.).
- Latitüde will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of defects due to material or workmanship of products not listed under claim terms.
- Latitüde warranty does not cover natural wear and tear or damage caused by rough handling or using the product beyond its intended purpose.
- Latitüde reserves the right to alter specifications in keeping with its policy of continuous product evaluation and improvement.
- The coverage of this Policy cannot be changed or broadened by any authorized representative of Latitüde.
- Repair(s) and/or replacement(s) are subject to the current product offerings of styles and construction options within the Latitüde Product line, at the time of the claim. If a claim is filed after a Latitüde product becomes obsolete or discontinued, Latitüde will replace the affected component with a replacement component of a similar style based on availability at the time of the claim.
- Notify Latitüde via phone or email within 10 days of any defect that comes to notice, such as visual damage or malfunctioning component. Notification posts the stipulated time, will void the Latitüde warranty under this Policy.
- This Policy is not renewed, in case the Latitüde modular cabinets or components are replaced in part or whole during the said warranty period. The replaced parts will continue to be covered under our warranty only till the remainder of the period as indicated in its respective table.
- 10 years (for modular wardrobes & storage) and 10 years (for kitchens) from the date of possession.
- The terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Bengaluru courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which might arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
- This warranty shall be applicable only when the client has provided signed handover document along with snag form.
- After settlement of any claim, the warranty period will not start afresh.
- Latitüde shall provide replacement of the Product only after inspecting the defect, if any.
- Latitüde is not liable to provide any alternative accommodation during any repair work. Customers shall make their own arrangements, if required.
- The warranty policy shall not cover any defects arising out of factors out of control of Latitüde, including but not limited to:
- Natural calamities such as earthquakes, cyclones
- Vandalism
- Acts of God
- Abuse or negligence by the customer
- Normal wear and tear
- Surface with contaminants
- Failure or defects in the structure or previous coating
- Any other external factors
- Latitüde reserves the right to carry out inspections and to perform any tests, and may do so either itself or by means of any person nominated by it. Prior to such inspection or testing, the customer shall not be entitled to perform any repairs or remove or tamper with any part of the product/ service.
- Latitüde shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the repair work is completed as soon as possible, but does not assume liability for delay in this respect.
Liability
Latitüde will make all efforts to replace/ repair the said defect within a reasonable period of time. Latitüde will not be liable for any direct/indirect loss to the user due to the defect or delay in providing the service, or any fault arising due to design, application or installation. In no event shall the liability of Latitüde, under this Policy, exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement, excluding convenience fees, transaction charges, shipping fees, handling charges, and any applicable taxes.
Limitation of Liability:
- Latitüde hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to the Services, including without limitation, all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, suitability and non-infringement, except to the extent such representations and warranties are not legally excludable.
- Latitüde nor its suppliers, affiliates, or agents are liable for any inability to render the warranty under this Policy due to events beyond its or their control, such as Acts of God, or for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, or profits, or other consequential, punitive, indirect, incidental or special damages, however, caused, whether for breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise.
- Latitüde’s liability is limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement, at the option of Latitüde and under no circumstances will Latitüde be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as, but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage or injury to persons or to property, or any other expense.
This Policy is not renewed, in case the Latitüde Products are replaced in part or whole during the said warranty period. The replaced parts will continue to be covered under our Policy only till the remainder of the period as indicated in its respective table.
The terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Calcutta High courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which might arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
- Latitüde, in its sole discretion shall be entitled to:
- Control/monitor repair which is to be carried out in accordance with all its specifications and instructions.
- Appoint a contractor and/or approve the contractor appointed by the customer.
- Latitüde is liable to process and execute any genuine repair or replacement request made by the customer within the warranty timeline in coordination with the respective brand.
- Any additional charges including work done over and above fixing the identified defect will be chargeable by the brand. The cost of these additional charges is to be borne by the customer.
- There are no warranties expressed or implied under law, which extend beyond the terms set out in this Policy.
- Neither party shall commence any court or arbitration proceedings related to the Policy before completing the entire evaluation process. Under such circumstances, the warranty policy will be considered null and void as the issue would be sub judice.
- In case of any disputes, the same is subject to the exclusive Jurisdiction of the courts of the respective cities.
- The facts and all matters concerning any dispute will be kept confidential by both the customer and Latitüde at all times.
- The customer is expected to provide the technician(s) with basic necessities as a stool/ladder, duster and broom (to execute and clean the service area) at the site.
- Any decision regarding repair of the said component (in part or whole) solely lies with the authorized Latitüde representative. The decision will be made following an inspection by the representative.
- The cost of dismantling, reassembly & relocation of the Product, wherever required, will be borne by the customer. As a standard practice, Latitüde will cover the Product with protective covering, wherever required.
- The warranty applies to the original purchaser only. It is not transferable to any other person.
- Repair(s) are subject to the current product offerings of styles and construction options within the Latitüde product line, at the time of the claim. If a claim is filed after a Latitüde product becomes obsolete or discontinued, Latitüde will replace the affected component with a replacement component of a similar style/make based on availability at the time of the claim.
- For this warranty to be valid, you must:1. Pay the full contract price.2. Retain a copy of the original contract/ invoice.3. Make the property accessible to the Latitude’s authorized representative to perform the repairs.

- Sole and Exclusive Remedy: In the event of a defect in the workmanship or materials of a Product or Product component occurring during the warranty period described above, We will, at our option, repair or replace any defective Product or Product component; provided, if it is not commercially feasible to repair or replace a defective Product or Product component, We may refund the original price paid by You for the defective Product or Product component, or provide a credit towards a similar type of product sold by Us. The foregoing are Your sole and exclusive remedies for any Product defect or non-conformity. By way of example but not limitation, the following costs and expenses are not covered by this Limited Warranty: (1) labour costs for the original installation, removal, or reinstallation of the Product, or defective part thereof; (2) labour costs or material charges for the removal, reinstallation, repainting, refinishing or replacement of any other items or building materials which must be removed, replaced, reinstalled, or refinished in order to repair or replace the defective Product or component. Further, we reserve the right to modify or alter any Product design, specifications or materials without obligation to make similar changes to Products previously manufactured or sold by Us. The repair or replacement remedies offered by Us under this Limited Warranty are contingent on the current Product offerings of styles and construction options within our Product line at the time a warranty claim is made by You. If a valid warranty claim is filed for an obsolete Product, we reserve the right, at our sole option, to honor its repair or replacement obligations under this Limited Warranty by replacing the affected Product or component with a new Product or component with a similar/ comparable product. If a Product or components are replaced or repaired, we cannot guarantee exact match with the finish or appearance of other products/ fixtures installed at Your dwelling.
- Latitüde hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to the Website and Services, including without limitation, all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, suitability and non-infringement, except to the extent such representations and warranties are not legally excludable. We do not warrant that the Product description, colour, information or other content on the Website is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. We do not guarantee or warrant the exactness of any visual representation provided to assist you in identifying the Products or Services on the website. Additionally, Latitüde shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the Website or the Services. You acknowledge that the entire risk arising out of the use or performance of the Website or Services remains with you.
- Latitüde nor its suppliers, affiliates, or agents are liable for any inability to perform under this warranty due to events beyond its or their control, such as acts of God, or for property damage, personal injury, loss of use, or profits, or other consequential, punitive, indirect, incidental or special damages, however, caused, whether for breach of warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise.
- In no event shall Latitüde be responsible for consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property, whether indirect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort even if it had reason to know in advance that such damages were possible. Some areas do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall Latitüde’s responsibility exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement.
- Latitüde shall not be liable for any damage resulting from any defect or from any delay to claim the warranty. The consumer must take reasonable steps to mitigate damages.
- Latitüde will not be responsible for exact matching of existing colours or textures. Neither can Latitüde guarantee that the finish paint samples you selected will exactly match the finish coating.
- Any claim that Products sold by Latitüde were defective or otherwise did not conform to the contract of sale is waived unless the customer submits it in writing to Latitüde’s authorized representatives within thirty (30) days from the date the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect or non- conformance. No legal action or proceeding complaining of goods sold by Latitüde may be brought by the customer more than one year after the date the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect or problem of which it complains.
- Disclaimer of warranty:1. This Warranty is the only express warranty made by Latitüde and it disclaims all other warranties, express or implied.2. This Warranty disclaims any liabilities, contracts, tort or otherwise including negligence and strict liability and the Company makes no warranty or merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose whatsoever.
- This warranty is conditioned upon normal use and reasonable maintenance of such equipment; prompt written notice of all defects to Latitüde’s authorized representatives; no repairs or additions have been done except by Latitüde authorised representatives; said defect not resulting from misuse, negligence, accident, abnormal wear and tear, and alteration of the original parts or adjustments by customer or third parties or Act of God.
Care instructions for your home:
Modular kitchen, storage and wardrobes Products.
- Always wipe moisture promptly and dry with a clean, soft cloth. Excess water or wet utensils may leave stains and can also cause the wood to swell or warp.
- Avoid dragging any sharp objects on the wooden surface to prevent scratches and other damage.
- Avoid using strong chemicals on hardware, hinges, and handles. Clean with a soft cloth or brush, or if required, use a mild glass cleaner.
- Please do not put excess weight in your cabinets, shelves, and drawers beyond the recommended load capacity.
- If there is a steel sink in the modular kitchen, clean the sink with a soft nylon scrubbing pad so that the steel does not get scratched.
- Clean the stove and burner daily so that food particles do not stick to them.
- Exposing furniture to intense heat from hot food or coffee cups could damage the finish. Coasters and mats should be used when placing hot objects on wooden furniture.
- For cleaning metallic surfaces, clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. To renew shine, gently polish with oil. Kindly perform a test patch on a hidden area before use.
- Do not use petroleum-based chemicals for cleaning acrylic or membrane surfaces.
- Do not clean the kitchen floor or sink with hydrochloric acid, as acid fumes can cause the coating on stainless-steel hardware and hinges to rust.
- While operating drawers, do not lean on them or place any weight on them.
- For any retouching work, do not use polish or paint products on your own. We recommend using professional services. Any unauthorized retouching will automatically void the warranty.
- Use a mixture of baking soda and water to maintain the shine of stainless-steel kitchen appliances or tiles.
- Avoid acidic, abrasive, and corrosive cleaning products of all kinds.
- In case of stains, gently clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry immediately.
- Get your chimney serviced by the manufacturer or brand every 6 months for optimum functionality.
- Avoid ammonia and alcohol-based cleaning products.
- Clean the entire refrigerator once a week with soapy water.
- Avoid outdoor use and keep away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid alkaline water as it has a high pH level which can cause marks and stains on stainless steel surfaces.
- Do not allow children to play with drawers, cabinets, or any component of the Products.
Note:
Please go through this handbook carefully. It is advisable to keep your Latitüde order and payment receipts in a safe place. In the event of a claim, Latitüde warranty is valid only when the following criteria is met.
- You possess a digital or physical proof of complete payment.
- You have signed the completion certificate at the time of installation.
- The warranty time frame has not expired.
In case of loss of bill or warranty e-book, you can contact the Latitüde customer support for information. Latitüde charges a nominal charge for after-sales services post the expiry of the Latitüde warranty period. Material charges may be incurred if anything needs replacing.
All warranties offered are subject to the limitations set through Latitüde Terms & Conditions. Please refer to the terms & conditions of your Product(s).
Services and customised Products offered by Latitüde are not covered under this Policy. Decor Products and accessories may or may not come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Please speak to a Latitüde authorized representative to find the manufacturer’s warranty period of any product not listed in this handbook.
Latitüde is a marketplace that facilitates buyers and sellers of goods and services to transact. It is not the seller of any products and services, unless explicitly specified. All registered vendors with Latitüde undergo an intensive quality and background check. The registered vendors are the providers of warranties, if any, for products and services offered by them. Latitüde only acts as a facilitator, for the benefit of its users. Under no event can Latitüde be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages and quality issues, whatsoever.
